Fez was founded in the IX century and boasts the oldest Medina in Morocco, as well as one of the oldest universities in the world.  The city is divided into three parts, and still maintains traditions that were lost to the Occidental world decades ago, like the artisan hide tanning. Walking through the streets of Fez is like taking a trip back in time, where potters, founders, and artisans coexist with foreign visitors.  The sights, sounds, and smells of Fez are unforgettable.

This town, located in a natural biosphere reserve, is a holy city built upon a mountain.  It’s blue and white streets, friendly inhabitants, beautiful displays of local artisanry, and stunning views offer visitors a haven of peace and serenity that is difficult to enjoy in today’s world.
