DAY 1, SATURDAY: SEVILLE MARRAKECH

  • 15:35 hrs Departure by direct flight from Seville to Marrakech.
  • Arrival at Marrakech airport, assistance and transfer to the hotel.
  • Marrakech, the red pearl of southern Morocco, was founded in 1062 by the Almoravids and acquired worldwide importance during medieval Islam under the rule of Youssef Ibn Tachfin, who made it one of the most important cities of medieval Islam. It is proud to be the origin of Morocco's name for the country, and has more than 1.5 million inhabitants.
  • Free time in Marrakech.
  • Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2, SUNDAY: MARRAKECH

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 09:00 hrs. Departure with the local guide from Marrakech to the Majorelle Gardens and visit also the Madrasa of Ben Youssef, a Koranic school of Benimerin origin from the middle of the 14th century, and the museum of Marrakech, located in the Palace of a minister of the sultan at the end of the 19th century: (entrance fees not included in the morning visit).
  • 13:00 hrs. Lunch at the hotel.
  • Afterwards we will have a guided tour of Marrakech. We start with the exterior visit of the Kutubia, the twin tower sister of the Giralda in Seville. We will visit the Menara Gardens, which have a large pond of 30,000 square meters, which was built in the time of the Almohads, who designed a whole system of underground channels to take advantage of the melt water of the Atlas and thus be able to use it for irrigation. This system is still in use today after almost 9 centuries of history. We will also visit the Bahia Palace, dedicated by the vizier to one of his favourites at the end of the 19th century.
  • We will end the day in the Jmaa el Fna Square, which at this time of the day becomes the greatest spectacle in the world. From the afternoon onwards, the most unusual characters take over the space: storytellers, snake charmers, fortune tellers and sorcerers, dentists with their trophy cabinets, women tattooing with henna, fakirs, acrobats, musicians, boxers, artists, healers, etc.
  • Orange juice sellers take advantage of the abundance of orange juice in the region to do their business, while others sport the typical attire of the old water sellers, although they often don't have a drop and are just trying to charge tourists for a photo. It really is an amazing place
  • For those who want transport, you will return to the hotel at 20:00 hrs, by prior arrangement between the group and the guide. Those who do not want to return to the hotel can stay in the square and return on their own.
  • Free dinner in Marrakech. However, an optional dinner will be offered at the renowned Chez Ali Fantasy show, which represents the different tribes of Morocco and their traditions.
  • And for those who don't want to, you can enjoy dinner at any of the many restaurants in and around the square.

DAY 3, MONDAY- MARRAKECH – TIZ´N´TICHKA – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out
  • 8:00 am We will continue our trip towards southern Morocco. We will cross through the majestic mountains of the Alto Atlas and the port of Tzi´n´Tichka, the door entrance to the desert which is 2260 meter high. Here we will pause to contemplate the spectacular views.
  • We will continue to Ait Ben Haddou, one of the geological wonders of the world, which has been kept maintained throughout the millennium. Next we will visit a grand fortress which has served as a movie set several times for movies such as ¨Laurence de Arabia¨, ¨Gladiator¨, and ¨La Joya del Nilo¨. It is made from different elements, the adobe seems to mix with the dry land over what used to be a flourishing stream and has now been converted to cropland.
  • After the visit of this landmark, we will continue to Ouarzazate, former garrison of French troops, located in the meridional zone in the country. Rich with its agriculture and famous for its details in its palm trees, roses and henna that grow on its bank. It is also the mainstay of many movie directors. These attributes have caused numerous economic boosts to this zone and has created many businesses related to the audiovisual world and jobs to many of the residents.
  • Arrive at the hotel, I will distribute the rooms and the dinners.

DAY 4, TUESDAY.- OUARZAZATE – TINERGHIR - GARGANTAS DEL TODRA - SAHARA

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out
  • 07:00 hrs. Departure from the hotel to continue our journey along the well known route of the Kasbahs.
  • We will pass by Boumalne Dades, where the Valley of the Roses is located. The we will continue towards Tinerghir, where we detour towards the Todra Gorges. There, we will be able to admire marvellous palm groves that help to support the heat of these places.
  • Free time for lunch.
  • In the afternoon we will continue our route towards Merzouga, where we will leave the vehicle to change to camels,. Then, we will cross the field of dunes mounted on camels; this takes approximately 1 hour and a half. Then we will sleep in khaimas in the middle of the desert.
  • We will spend the night in khaimas, next to the dunes of Erg Chebbi in the Sahara desert from we will be able to contemplate a spectacular starry sky.
  • Dinner and overnight in Jaimas.
  • After dinner there will be a fire with the music of Berber drums.
  • The journey from Merzouga to the khaimas camp will be done by camel and will take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
  • If the client is not in physical condition or does not wish to make this journey, a supplement of €25 will be charged for the transfer to the camp by 4x4. The return trip will in any case be by 4x4 for all clients.

DAY 5, WEDNESDAY.- SAHARA – IFRANE - FEZ

  • Sunrise in the Sahara. Its dunes extend to the horizon and some rise more than 150 m. The experience of seeing the first rays of sunrise in the Sahara is impressive.
  • Today it is obligatory to get up early for an unforgettable date with the sunrise. We will go out at night to be able to contemplate it from the dunes and to admire the different tonalities that is acquiring the sand as the Sun goes up.
  • Return in 4x4 to the Kasbah, for it we will border the field of dunes crossing the tracks that previously were used in the rally to Dakar.
  • Breakfast at the Kasbah.
  • After breakfast we will depart for Fez, the first of the Imperial Cities. Its origin dates back to the 8th century, and it is also one of the first holy cities of Muslim worship in Morocco. Fez is also proud to host one of the oldest universities in the world.
  • On the way to Fez, making many stops for observations, we will cross the middle and high Atlas.

DAY 6, THURSDAY.- FEZ

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • To walk through the labyrinthine streets of Fez can transport one through the past lives where alfareros, forjadores, and artisans living with foreign visitors who does not cease to surprise themselves observing the people and taking in all the aromas and smells from the atmosphere of the city.
  • We will go out to begin a visit with a local tour guide from the city of Fez. We will begin with the panoramic of the city, including the Merinides tombs. Later we will visit Fez el Jedid, including the Alhuitas plaza which are located on the exterior of the Palacio Real and Dar el Makzen. We will continue on foot to Fez el Bali. We will visit the souk spices in Attarin and the souk in Jenna. We will arrive at the Nejjarin plaza where the founduk can be found under the same name where we will also be visiting Bounania. From there we will continue to to the Seffarin plaza to finish up the morning in the tanners neighborhoods and view the tannery.
  • Mirrors, perfumes, chickens, doves, silverware, gold, slippers, sandals, tunicas, jellabah, drums, vegetables, fruits, pottery, ceramics, forges, herbs (nothing illegal), spices, photos of the king, grains, books, crystals, and anything else imaginable, it is all here. The constant rattle of the carriages pulled by donkeys holding diverse products, will transport you to a unique world.

  • Whoever wishes to return to the tour guide in the evening, it is offered. After lunch at the hotel at the center you can go visit local artisans, souks, and discover how they function and work.
  • 8:00 pm optional dinner with the spectacular folklore

DAY 7, FRIDAY.- FEZ – CHAOUEN – TANGER – SEVILLA

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out
  • Depart to Chefchaouen located in the only intercontinental natural park, declared as a natural reserve biosphere. Chaouen is a town on a mountain, white and blue, with its wise, kind, and respectful people who offer visitors beautiful panoramas of the urban slope. Beautiful local artisan showings can be seen here as well as enjoying a certain calmness that hard to find nowadays. This place really has you wishing for a return once you leave.
  • Free time to visit the city.
  • Lunch at leisure.
  • 14:00 Departure to the port of Tangier.
  • 17:00 Arrival at the port of Tangier.
  • Transfer to Tangier airport
  • 22:45 hrs Departure flight to Seville
  • 00:30 hrs Arrival in Seville and end of our services.
